Spin3 Mobile Online Casino Platform Forges Ahead

January 27, 2009

This week Spin3 announced that its suite of Microgaming games will now be available on two of the most advanced mobile handsets. Earlier in January Spin3 had launched a new mobile game Thunderstruck for its mobile users. The mobile gaming market is growing and Spin3 is clearly aiming to retain its leadership position.

The first handset is the Android GI, which is touted as the handset to have. Spin3 has become the first mobile games service provider to have its games on Android GI. The games need not be downloaded and installed but can be played instantly. The games on offer include Blackjack, Roulette, Major Millions and Tomb Raider. The quality of these games when combined with the handset’s screen quality and touch-screen controls makes for the best mobile gaming experience to date. Matti Zinder, Head of Spin3, is pleased as Punch with this deal. He pointed out that the fact that 1.5 million Android G1 phones were pre-ordered even before the launch spoke volumes of its reach. Zinder said that deal with Android G1 was part of a wider strategy to offer Microgaming games on web-based smart phones. This technology offers so many advantages such as speed, stability, connectivity and interactivity that very soon there will be other platforms like Android GI. And Spin3 aims to be supplying its mobile games to them as well. Visitors to the ongoing International Gaming Expo in London can see the demos on Android GI handsets. Demos will also be given at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in mid February.

The other handset that will now use mobile games from Spin3 is BlackBerry. A range of handsets that are version 4.3 or advanced from BlackBerry including the new touch screen Blackberry Storm, Pearl, Curve and Bold will feature Spin3 games. BlackBerry is the handset chosen by President Obama. It has always been the choice for executives and business persons. The arrangement between Spin3 and BlackBerry will allow this busy group to enjoy moments of relaxation while on the move. The BlackBerry’s large and high quality screens are ideally suited for mobile gaming. All 15 Microgaming games that are being offered by Spin3 to mobile users will be offered to BlackBerry. These games will be offered by Spin3’s GameWire platform that presently supports nine languages. It also supports all major payment systems including credit and debit cards. Game wire also supports a new system that enables Vodafone customers in the United Kingdom to purchase casino credits via their monthly phone bills.
